VF-03 V5 is an experimental aircraft concept intended for the same high-altitude, high-speed interception role as VF-03 Stargazer. It explores a variable-cycle scramjet propulsion concept with large intakes and an enclosed cockpit, replacing the bubble canopy with small side-facing windows for the intended high-speed flight regime.
